i love picture intensive entries!! especially when the pictures make us and me look good. =) happy happy. anws, the CATCH! team did a photoshoot for our magazine yesterday, and the pictures turned out really well, so, without further ado, this is us:
thePRINTteam all squeezed up; and thePRINTteam emo-ing: andre's emo = show ur full head of hair! and edmund looks like a cd cover. hehe.
the cam-whoring starts with ken's excellent camera.. we took many many pictures ah, but i not so free put all up. so these are a selected few. and because its me blog, all got me ah. =P there were loads of good pictures without me in them, like classic louis andy gay poses, yanting andre campus superstar shots, but those will be in later entries. =)
dy and me! dy in his $300-but-bought-at-$50-tmd-why-so-good-deal leather jacket that smells like courts sofas. but nice! haha.

yayyy layout change! haha. have been itching to do it since dy was looking through blogskins.com tt day. i like the green. and the orange-y background. and how the words look on apple-san. japanese fonts ALWAYS look better on macs, they look damn square-ish on a windows OS comp. hehe.
ratatouille yesterday with dy. i think we're going to be bombarded with a lot of "OI, pangseh!" comments ah, but sorry lahh. >_< it was good, not explosively funny, but heartwarmingly so. and french cuisine, ooh la la~ haha. the kitchen reminded me of raffles grill. imagine jean-charles shouting orders to everyone else.. ^^ dy likes the thai green curry in thai express, which was good, but spicy ah. he can drink it like its soup lah! *shakes head*
chef calvin called just as i was gg out though. genuinely worried for him. sounded like he was drinking, now that i think about it. he wasn't his usual self, sort of going on and on, rambling, basically. ahh, even if he had to bring ah ford or william over to chicago i really hope he does, even though i will miss them. because at least they can keep him company and stop him from doing things like jumping into lake michigan. but i think if he jumps in they will jump in with him lah. wahaha. he'll be coming back after christmas to stay for a month, so im counting down!
breakfast with shawn and edmond saturday morning. good lor mee! and equally lame jokes by the both of them. they can really crack me up. what the hell is "a leopard can never change its spots... unless its a transformer." typical edmond lahh. almost fell off my chair. edmond's sweet, he kept gg on and on about wanting to get his driving licence so he could bring us all out to eat supper. i have funny friends.
lazyy sunday. i like. now i feel like having peanuts. and ikea icecream. and my mom is officially now hooked on karaoke. and im happy, because im smiling all the time now. =)

the weekend, finally. catch! is coming along, and i think we're doing fine with mastering photoshop. heheh.
i learnt a lot this week. a lot about the people i love, the people i thought i loved, and about myself. wrote them all down somewhere, to remind myself in the future.
cried this week. over events that overwhelmed me, over things i never believed i would ever go through, over dreams fulfilled. i am indeed blessed.
dy has been a rock these few days, always there to give me a hug when im down, to cheer me up with something he says. thank you =))
hiroshi is back from japan again! saw him in mama bakery yesterday, and he mentioned he reads my blog. *waves! haha. hey hiroshi! okaasan was sweet as always, we all call her okaasan now, and i think tts kind of sweet. ^^ sakinah has left the bakery though, ill miss her man. but still! shes always online. when i need to smile, i think of her on a constant high. UWAHH! XDD O_O

though i had the whole cd, but i only listened to a few songs up till yesterday. then as i neared the school yesterday in the busi accidentally clicked this song, so i just listened. the first two lines caught my attention, and then i listened to the lyrics for the whole song. it wasnt bombastic, but it represented what i felt =)
long day yesterday, drove all the way out to temasek poly to see the staff soccer team in action without mr azhar and mr wong. even though mr lionel, mr jafar, mr indris etc. everyone played their best, they couldnt beat the TP staff and puipui with the bandanna. i think andy has the picture of tt ass of a TP staff who stood by the sidelines screaming, "OI passing macham primary school ah! cepat sikit!!" haha. both of us were laughing our asses off.
dinner with dy by the beach! haha. got planes pass by, got nice twinkling candlelights, and the best company ever. =)
881 was interesting.. the hokkien jokes and everything worked v well basically because it was in hokkien. mindee ong looks like wendy. what the? its super uncanny, but i just keep thinking of wendy when i see her face onscreen. dy was sleepy though, almost dozed off at the end when the hokkien jokes stopped and it got a bit draggy. but before tt, the movie made me laugh and cry, and yt, andre, darryn and louis trembling with laughter at the cock(erel) jokes beside me.

an old old song i havent heard in a long while. =) used to listen to it on repeat on my old samsung yepp.
dinner with the wong family today at tanjong pagar. the two uncles are both overseas in indonesia and india respectively, so today is the young uns' turns to clear the plates. had the first all-hakka meal in my lifetime, and okay lah, suan pan zi not too bad lah. just weird. haha. i learned a lot about my cousins, like xingying is taking triple science and i totally didnt know, and like i said, she does look like me.
was laughing with joanjoan about how during my third aunt's wedding vance the supposed ring bearer started crying when the wedding march came on. then he refused to walk down the aisle with the rings and so they had to grab a flower girl, throw her flowers to me the second flower girl, and get her to sub as the ring bearer. i think the wedding photos do show my brother bawling his eyes out.
both the yankees and the mariners have won their games today, whoopee!
and im happy =)

thanks, mr jeffrey, for the cd! wahaha. i think jeffrey goh's got the most eclectic taste in music, and corrinne may does seem appropriate in the morning. =) woke up at seven, and listened to the drizzle of rain outside, but was too tired out to sit up and go up to the window.
five loaves and two fishes just made me tear. i know, its a christian song about a bible story ive read many times before, but the fact of how much trust and faith you can put in someone touched me.

baseball update:
the boston redsox are playng a series against the mariners this weekend with the mariners already winning the first in the three-set game. the second game will be pitting matsuzaka daisuke against jarrod washburn.. wooo, the second time matsuzaka will be facing ichiro in this season! yeahhhh. want to watch, but i guess espn wont be broadcasting the match. =( mariners have been playing well, with betancourt, beltre and johjima, among others, making a huge impact on the team.
the yankees are cruising, with occasional hiccups. a-rod has hit his career 500 homeruns, whoopee! haha. matsui was recently named AL Player of the Month of July =)) they just thrashed the kansas city royals 16-8.
new songs on the oricon this week - spitz and aqua timez have good songs, among others. seems like tohoshinki and hey!say!7 are fighting for the top position.. haha. the battle of the east asian nations.
csi:newyork today on axn is going to be extremely good. the episode i have been waiting, and waiting to watch since the season started.

multicam today was half fun and half tense, but all in all it was exciting being part of a production and contributing to the final product. being AD was fun, so fun until i almost lost my voice (nothing a glass of sugar cane juice at chompchomp cnt cure!) and cameraman needs skill, i found out. not my vocation, though. heh.
i thought the mariners werent playing today, but it seemed like they lost 0-8. jeff weaver can jump down lah, trade him for another pitcher please? ahh! always seem to disappoint. but the yankees set a record today; for the most homeruns in a single game. EIGHT, with two from matsui. =) woots! they thrashed the whitesox 16-3.
